Nursery Hand - Lansvale

Nursery Apprentice - Lansvale
We are currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to fill Nursery Apprentice positions at our Lansvale site.
Applicants must;
• BE reliable, responsible and punctual
• HAVE own transport
• BE motivated, enthusiastic and committed
• BE an Australian citizen
• BE prepared to undertake study and successfully complete a Certificate III in Nursery

Production at TAFE (approximately 1 day per week for 2 years)
• BE willing to work in all weather conditions
• BE willing to take on new roles and responsibilities
• BE physically fit

The Lansvale Nursery is a fast-paced and dynamic site. Due to an increase in sales, we require additional full-time Apprentice staff to learn and undertake all facets of nursery work which includes and is not limited to; weeding, watering, propagation, general potting, stock movement and despatching.

Nursery Hand - Mangrove Mountain
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic horticultural staff to fill multiple nursery hand positions in our maintenance and production departments at all 3 of our New South Wales sites. Our Head Office in Kemps Creek - Western Sydney, our Propagation Nursery at Lansvale - South-West Sydney and our Growing Site on the Central Coast at Mangrove Mountain.

Trainee Estimator (Horticultural) - Kemps Creek
We are seeking a qualified and experienced person to join our Sales Team at our Kemps Creek Office.

The position involves primarily working with the estimator and sales team members on the following tasks:

  • Produce quotes and be involved in the tender process.
  • Providing specialist advice to clients.
  • Processing orders / invoices.
  • Quote logging and reporting process.
  • Sales and customer relations planning.
  • Sales and customer service operations.

The ideal candidate shall:

  • Have a minimum Cert 3 in Horticulture (Nursery, Parks & Gardens, or Landscaping).
  • Have a minimum 3 years experience in the Horticulture industry.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft office (Word and Excel).
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
  • Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Accounts Payable Officer - Kemps Creek
We currently have an opportunity for an experience Accounts Payable Officer, however the role is broader than this and does include general administration tasks.

The Role:

  • SAGE500 (Accpac) an advantage
  • Accounts Payable with other General Administration tasks as required
  • Be proficient with Microsoft office (Word and Excel).
  • Work within an Admin team of 4
  • Manage all AP related queries
  • Receipting of all stock purchases
  • Processing of invoices
  • Ensuring monthly review and reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Compiling monthly payments
  • Assist other team members as required

Your Background:
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years full function Accounts Payable experience within a team or standalone capacity. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a team environment and who can multitask. Experience with an ERP accounting system especially SAGE500 (Accpac). You will have an eye for detail and good communication skills as you will be dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Our preference is for a full time 5 days a week individual; however we can be flexible depending on experience. Your 'can do' attitude, happy and friendly personality and ability to multi task will be highly regarded.
