A collaborative approach was needed when designing and implementing the green infrastructure for One Central Park. Plants were tested on suitability before being installed into site. Wind resistance tests (seen below in photo gallery) and general stress testing provided the best solution for plant choice and plant success.
The site had challenges such as precision delivery coordination, care for plants once delivered, initial plant choice and supply, and several stakeholders involved. Andreasens Green grew and supplied excellent plants of high quality to the exacting site requirements and the site is now a great success. One Central Park has become the benchmark residential high rise construction for green living.
