Origin : Widespread in rain-forests, often lining stream banks. North from the Hunter Valley extending into Queensland.
Habit : A narrow domed form while young developing to a broad domed crown. Lustrous, dark green foliage, with pendulous branchlets against the dark bark make for an attractive tree.
Height : Up to 10.0m in height
Width : Up to 5.0 – 8.0m in width
Growth Rate : Medium to Fast
Foliage : Bright green foliage with pale bronze coloured new growth.
Flowers : Yes
Flower Description : Large clusters of white flowers from November to December
Flowers colours : White and Cream
Fruit : Not known to have fruits
Position : Full sun to part shade. Avoid hot or dry exposed inland regions. Tolerates cold and drought.
